Personal Profile

I am an enthusiastic, self motivated individual who can work alone or as part of a team. I use common sense and reasoning to solve problems and have the ability to communicate at all levels. I enjoy a challenge, am quick to learn and responsive to training. I am willing and able to adapt to a new environment, producing a consistent high quality of work. I am keen to learn new skills while making a positive contribution towards work possessing a good sense of humour, I am always full of good ideas.


Key Skills

I am proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Freehand, Flash, Corel Draw, AutoCAD 2000, as well as Windows programmes
such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. I am equally conversant with PC and Apple MAC.

I have professional quality freehand sketching skills and the ability to create high quality renderings. I am also able to model clay, fibreglass
and foam to a high standard.

I have a keen interest in photography and can use an SLR camera competently. I am also proficient with digital photography.


Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy design and often visit graphic design forums to keep up to date with new trends. I also like film, music, socialising, fishing, golf, football,
basketball, squash and cooking. I also have an interest in illustration and have provided a friend of mine with storyboards for a film he is producing and directing.

The Sage Gateshead/DanceCity

Commisioned flyer/leaflet/poster design for Symbiosis,
a collaboration between national and local, dancers and musicians
based at The Sage Gateshead and DanceCity


November 2006
The Sage Gateshead

Commisioned by the Social Committee of the Sage Gateshead to design tickets,
flyers and posters for the North Music Trust and Music North Limited Christmas event.


January 2005

Alfred Dunhill

Commissioned freelance work to design a motoring heritage cufflink,
based upon the rocker cover of a 1930’s Bentley.

issue of Miniworld, in an editorial on small car design.

Working as part of a team to design an electric hybrid delivery vehicle for Royal Mail.
Working in conjunction with L.T.I. as our client we developed a succesful design
and fifth scale clay model.

The Sage Gateshead
Customer Services Team Member

As part of the Customer Service Team it is required that when called upon any request is met, from setting up performance halls and conferences to cleaning kitchens while maintaining the reputation of a world class music venue. During my time at The Sage Gateshead I was chosen to be part of the team serving Her Royal Majesty The Queen at the Royal Opening of the building. Main duties of my role include aiding concert goers, ushering, problem solving, looking after guests and performers, and catering duties too.  I do and am constantly expected to uphold the standard of welcome expected of such a venue at all occassions. These can range from The Labour Party Conference to a James Brown concert and all in between.

Working intermittently for six years I have inputted data, advised vendors and buyers as to the property market, gained a considerable knowledge of the in house computer system (GMW), dealt with customer queries, mortgage administration, placed clients on the mailing list, general telephone work and photocopying duties.
